Reading – You get 3 passages in Academic IELTS and on their basis you have to answer 40 questions within an hour time. The difficulty level keeps increasing with more complex text and extracts.
Writing Task 1 – You’ll get 20 minutes to complete this part. In Academic IELTS, a type of statistic chart like bar chart, pie graph etc. will be given to you. You have to analyze the given chart and describe accordingly. Must write at least 150 words.
Writing Task 2 – Writing task 2 is similar in both type of IELTS. You’ll be given a topic and you’ve to write an essay on it. Everyone will get 40 minutes to complete the task and it is compulsory for everyone to write at least 250 words.
Now coming to the General IELTS:
Writing Task 1 – You’ll get 20 minutes to complete this task. In this case, you’ve to write a letter depending on the given pattern in more than 150 words.
