What in the world is UPI 


UPI is acronym for Unified Payment Interface, and it is a technology where you send money without having account number but only a single UPI ID. With UPI you can check the balance, and can transfer the money from your phone with the help of the internet.

Forgot yourUPI PIN? Don’t worryhere’s how you reset it 


There is a 6-digit (or 4 digits for a few banks) number that helps you with the authentication method to verify the transaction done via UPI. If you forgot that PIN by any means, you'll have to stop and no other UPI transaction can be done. In order to reset your UPI PIN you need to perform some tasks and obtain the work done.

Step1- Open up the UPI application to reset your UPI PIN. 

Step2- Once you’re done with opening the BHIM app, click on bank account option at the main screen of your mobile.

Step3- Now from the newly-opened screen on your mobile, click on the reset UPI PIN.

Step4- Now, enter your last 6-digits of your debit card and the Expiry date in MMYY format.

Step5-Got the maestro card, just tick on the Maestro card option, so that you don’t need to enter card expiry details.

Step6-Once you’re done, enter your new 6-digit UPI PIN and re-enter it to verify.

Done! Your UPI PIN is now reset and you can use your new PIN to make transactions in your UPI App.

How do you reset UPI PIN in Phonepe App?


Step1- You need to open-up yourPhonepe App and from rock bottom menu, click on My Money option.

Step2- Now, select the Bank accounts option and choose the bank that you forgot UPI PIN.

Step3-Once you’re done with step 2, tap on reset UPI PIN to reset it.

Step4-Now you need to enter your last 6 digits of debit card number and expiry date as well and tap on Continue button.

Step5- Enter your new UPI pin and you are ready to use it.


How can you fix forgotten UPI PIN in Google pay app?


Step1-First step is to open the Google Pay App on your phone, tap on your name and then open the profile settings.

Step2- Now, tap on your bank account option from the list.

Step3-Now you have to select the back account name that you simply want to reset the UPI pin for.

Step4-Now just belowyour bank name, you'll see the Forgot UPI PIN? Simply tap on it.

Step5- Enter your last 6 digits of your debit credit number and expiry date and tap on the Continue button.

Step6-Just simply enter your new UPI pin to line it.
